This figure is an extension of my ongoing exploration of blue-and-white tile aesthetics.
Built on the @trexiisg platform, this figure is a compact, character-driven canvas for the visual language I’ve developed through years of working with traditional Portuguese tile motifs. The blue palette references the centuries-old ceramic tradition that inspires much of my practice, grounding the toy in the same universe as my murals, prints, and sculptural pieces.
As a character, ‘AIRWALKER’ embodies movement, lightness and curiosity, almost as if it’s floating above the surface of the tiles that inspired its visual elements. It represents the idea of walking between worlds… the old and the new, the decorative and the digital, the static nature of ceramic patterns and the dynamic personality of a collectible figure.
